Description
The retaining wall to the south and west of the Dairy at Nanteos is a Grade II listed structure. It features a broad curve at the southwest angle, creating a revetment. The wall is constructed from coursed squared grey stone. There is a flight of stone steps on the west side, which is interrupted by a break and has a matching stone revetment, providing access to the dairy level above. Near the curve, to the right of the steps, there is a rectangular opening beneath a timber lintel, though its function is unclear. The wall continues in a continuous line to the south of the dairy.
