Description
The gates and boundary wall to St Davids University College in Lampeter are constructed from rubble stone and vary in height. The section along Station Terrace is taller to the east and has been reduced and capped to the west, where it curves around into College Street, increasing in height again. There are two gateways along Station Terrace: the wider vehicular entrance to the east and a narrow low pedestrian gateway to the west at the corner with College Street, featuring piers with pyramid capings and a wall that ramps up to meet the piers, along with a wrought iron gate.
Further down College Street, there is a wider vehicular gateway with similar but taller piers, also topped with pyramid capings, and a double wrought iron gate. Another similar gateway is located at the southern end next to the lodge.
