Description

16 High Terrace is a terraced house that features painted roughcast walls and a flat-eaved slate roof with red brick end stacks. The house is two stories tall and has a three-window range, showcasing original hornless 12-pane sash windows set in moulded stucco surrounds, complete with painted slate sills. The central entrance boasts an original six-panel door, four of which are fielded, topped by a traceried fanlight. This is framed by an open-pedimented timber porch supported by two columns, which have plain block entablatures and bases that are cased in concrete. The sides of the porch are adorned with trellis panels. Inside, the ground floor rooms are fitted with panelled internal shutters.
