Description

Cartref is a terraced house constructed from whitewashed rubble stone, topped with a slate close-eaved roof. It features a 20th-century rebuilt stack made of black brick at the right end party wall adjacent to Ceunant House. The house is two storeys high and double-fronted, with 20th-century windows that have replaced the original hornless 9-pane sashes on the upper floor and larger hornless 12-pane sashes on the ground floor, similar to those on Ceunant House and the adjoining Llwyn. The ground floor openings have painted brick heads and concrete sills. The property was not seen at the time of the survey.
