Description
The stable and cart-shed at Glyn Clywedog is a small, lofted structure dating from the 18th century. The front features half-timbering set on a brick and stone base, while the gable end walls are constructed from random stone with large quoins. It has a slate roof with overhanging eaves. The front displays box-panelling with brick nogging and a large bressumer at the loft floor level. There is a central planked door leading into the stable, with a wooden window featuring an opening ventilator to the left. To the right of the stable door, there are wide planked double doors leading into the cart-shed. The loft includes a 2-light wooden casement window, which is currently without glazing, positioned to the left of center. The north gable end has a planked door to the loft, topped by a segmental brick head, and there is a low open range, primarily of timber, adjoining the south gable end.
