Description
Lower Trewylan, also known as Trewylan Isaf, is a Grade II listed building. The northeast portion of the structure is timber-framed with brick nogging, featuring ground floor nogging from the 18th century and upper floor nogging from the 19th century. It has a modern brick stack located against the gable end and includes two windows on the south side and one on the west side.
The southwest portion dates to the early 18th century and is constructed of brick, with two windows on the south side and two windows in the gables. The gables themselves are timber-framed, with brick nogging and plaster. The southwest side is dominated by two large early 18th-century brick stacks, each topped with clusters of tall, finely moulded brick chimneys. A brick gable rises between the stacks, which has one blocked window in the gable; there is a modern window in the top storey, but no other windows below.
