Description

The lychgate to Llansantffraid Cemetery is a stone structure built from sneck-coursed yellow sandstone, featuring a pyramidal red tile roof topped with a pole finial. It is supported by large curling iron brackets at the eaves on all sides. The lychgate has wide openings at the front and rear, with double timber gates located only at the front. The front and rear walls extend slightly into buttresses. There are slit windows on each side of the entrances at the front and rear, and a single slit window on each side. Inside, there is a side bench with cupboard space underneath.
