Description

The lychgate is built from two parallel stone walls and features a gabled timber superstructure that is arcaded on the sides. It has cusped bargeboards and a stone slate roof that runs on a northeast to southwest axis. There are two sets of iron gates. The lychgate is connected to the Almonry to the south by a low stone wall with coping, which includes railings topped with spear-headed finials and square standards with urn finials at intervals. There is also a short stretch of similar wall to the north.
