Description
No. 5 St John's Terrace is a pair of two-storey houses, each featuring two windows. The building has a slate roof with end stacks and is constructed of stucco, which includes a band at the first floor level and end pilaster bands. The first floor has sixteen-pane sash windows set in reveals.
On the ground floor, No. 5 has a sixteen-pane sash window on the right, a central doorway with a panelled door, and on the left, a small 19th-century shop window that includes pilasters, a fascia, and a cornice. Additionally, No. 5 has a small forecourt that is enclosed by a contemporary dwarf wall and railings. At the northeast end, there is a one-storey wing that features a segmental headed hopper window with glazing bars and a doorway with a cambered head.
