Description

The sundial in the churchyard of the Church of St Mary is a monolithic stone structure, standing about 1 meter high. It features a square shaft with stop-chamfered angles. At the top, it carries a brass plate made by Samuel Roberts of Llanvair, which is dated 1754 and includes a later gnomon. The sundial indicates a latitude of 52 degrees 35 minutes North.
