Description

Cefn-y-Coed is a two-storey house built from Llanfyllin brick, featuring a slate roof and rectangular end chimneys made of brick. The first floor has three broadly-proportioned twelve-pane hornless sash windows, arranged with four panes over eight. On the ground floor, there is a central entrance doorway framed by an early 19th-century shallow doorcase with Doric pilasters and an entablature. The entrance door is six-panelled and has a rectangular overlight above it. Flanking the doorway are two sixteen-pane horned sash windows. At the rear, there is a central doorway with an early 19th-century doorcase, and later windows are present on each floor.
