Description

51 The Watton is a two-storey, two-window house dating from the 18th century. It features a slate roof and has end chimneys, with the left chimney being cut down. The exterior is finished in smooth render over stone, which is visible as a plinth. On the first floor, there is a 12-pane horned sash window on the left and a three-light small-pane sash window on the right. The ground floor has a three-light small-pane sash window on the right side, while on the left, two steps lead up to a round-headed and pedimented doorcase. This doorcase is adorned with narrow panelled pilasters, plain deep reveals, and a semi-circular fanlight with radiating tracery, along with a half-glazed four-panelled door. At the rear, there is a wing that includes a small-pane sash window and a tall chimney.
