Description

57 The Watton is part of a row of six two-storey cottages, built in the 19th century. Each cottage has one window bay and a doorway. The cottages feature a slate roof and large brick chimney stacks located between numbers 53 and 54, and between numbers 55 and 56. The facades are roughcast with rendered sill bands, a plinth, and window dressings. The upper window openings have heads that align with the eaves level. The ground floor window and door openings are designed with cambered heads and vermiculated keystones. The glazing and doors have been modernized.
