Description

This is a row of seven buildings dating from the 18th century, comprising six houses and a public house at the left end. The frontages are rendered with a plinth, and the roofs are slate, with a hipped roof at the left end. Each building has two windows on the front elevation, featuring sash windows and doorcases with architraves, friezes, and cornices.

Number 21 has 12-pane sashes on the first floor, and on the ground floor, a doorway to the right features a four-panelled door (broader than the others). To the left of the doorway is a sash window without glazing bars. Number 21 also has a one-storey lean-to addition against its north-west return. A lower, two-storey, two-bay wing extends to the rear, faced in roughcast and continuing the building’s return elevation.
