Description
Ivy House is a late-Georgian, two-storey, three-window house. The symmetrical front facade has a pebbledash finish and exposed chamfered brick dressings around the windows. The slate roof has wide eaves and scalloped bargeboards, with gable end brick stacks featuring cornice bands. There are sixteen-pane sash windows in painted reveals with painted sills. A central timber porch with trellised work and fluted iron columns leads to a six-panelled door, which has a raised field design, reeded architrave, and a margin glazed fanlight. At the rear is a largely cobbled courtyard, flanked by outbuildings dated 1840.
