Description

Pleasant View is a mid-19th century pair of cottages that have been converted into a single house. The exterior features colourwashed rubble stone with a slate roof and three brick chimneys, although it originally had two brick chimneys and a stone stack at the right end. The building has flat eaves and overhanging gable verges. It stands two storeys high and has a three-window range, with three 8/8-pane casement pair windows on the upper floor and three 10/10-pane casement pairs on the ground floor. There are also two 4-panel doors with 4-pane overlights located in alternate bays. At the rear of the building, there is a large gabled two-storey extension. The interior of No. 2 has been modernised and features an open plan layout.
