Description

The Farmer's Arms is a building that likely dates from the 17th century and has undergone some later alterations. It stands two storeys high and features four windows. The front is finished in stucco and extends slightly below the first floor level. The roof is covered with slate and has wide eaves, which are coved only on the left side, and there is a brick chimney stack at one end. The building has sash windows set in flush frames, with a tripartite window located on the ground floor to the right. There is a six-panel door beneath a hood to the left, and a second door is positioned to the right.
