Description
This milestone is located on Bishops Castle Road and features an early 19th-century cast-iron plate attached to a possibly older round-headed stone. The plate displays the distance, reading "Miles from Montgomery ½ Bps, Castle 8". The first word of the inscription follows the curve of the stone's head.
