Description
Ty-isaf farmhouse is a white-painted, two-storey building with two windows, constructed from uncoursed, roughly dressed local slate and topped with a slate roof, tile ridge, and rendered end-chimneys. The main section of the farmhouse faces south towards its farm track and associated buildings. To the north, there is a two-storey rear wing and a single-storey lean-to, both made from similar materials. The left (west) gable end, including the side of the rear wing, is roughcast rendered and painted white. There are later blockwork additions to the east that include a garage.
The entrance door is located on the left, positioned against the chimney, and features a simple open-fronted blockwork porch. The farmhouse has two three-light windows located beneath the eaves and one small single-light window to the left, all lacking sills. Below, there are similar three-light windows set in segmental-headed openings, also without sills. Additional windows can be found above and below in the gable of the rear wing, as well as a small window on the west side, which has sills.
