Description
Tynycoed is a 2½-storey house built from whitened rubble stone, topped with a slate roof and featuring a stone stack on the right side. Each storey has two 2-light casement windows set beneath wooden lintels, and the left gable end includes an attic window. The entrance is located in the cross passage of the downhouse, which is constructed of rubble stone and has a corrugated iron roof. The cross passage contains a boarded door. Further to the right, there are five boarded doors and a window, along with a loft door to the left of center and weatherboarding in the loft area to the right of center. At the rear of the house, there is an added lean-to back kitchen. Although not inspected, it is reported by RCAHM Wales that the building retains a post-and-panel partition and collar-beam trusses.
