Description

The Forge is a two-storey building, originally a single storey on the left side, constructed with a box-frame design. The right side is made of rubble with brick dressings. It has an overall slate roof with a central brick chimney stack, and the left gable is made of rubble with a brick stem. There are four windows, which are two-light timber casements. A modern porch has been added to the left side. To the right, there is a segmental carriage arch, and a further one-storey range extends from the right end, with a lean-to extension on the left.
