Description

No. 2 is an Arts and Crafts style detached house, built in the 20th century. The exterior is brown rubble with bathstone dressings, and it has a slate roof. The windows are mullioned casements, with renewed frames. The house has an L-shaped plan. The north-facing gable, which fronts the road, has a chimney on the left side, a two-light window to the first floor, a three-light window to the ground floor, and a stair window to the right. The entrance is on the right return of this gable. The west-facing gable has a two-light window to the first floor and a small window to the left at a lower level, alongside a ground floor window. The south elevation features a large chimney, a dormer with a two-light window, a splayed bay window on the ground floor, and two doors leading to storage sheds.
