Description

No 4 is an Arts and Crafts style pair of semi-detached houses. They are constructed of brown rubble with bathstone dressings and feature a slate roof. The houses have mullioned windows, although the casements have been renewed. There are three stone chimneys. Each house has an advanced cross gable at the end, with a 3-light window on the first floor; the right house has a 2-light window on the ground floor, while the left house has a splayed bay window with three lights facing the front. Between the gables, each house features a small hipped dormer and a 2-light ground floor window, which are grouped together as a pair. At the angle with the cross gable, each house has a porch with a hipped slate roof.
