Description

The Memorial Obelisk to Lake Vyrnwy Workers is a stone structure that stands about eight metres tall and measures approximately two metres square at the base. It is constructed from six courses of slate with a rough pecked finish. Each of the four faces of the die features an inscription carved in fossiliferous marble, listing the names of the deceased, and each inscription is framed by rough slate. The letters of the inscriptions are leaded. The obelisk is set on a double plinth that has a splay and a rough base.
