Description
The Llanwddyn War Memorial is a tribute to those from the parish who lost their lives in the Great War. It takes the form of a Celtic Cross featuring an interlace pattern on its face and a slightly tapering shaft, which stands on a die where the names of the deceased are carved. Additional names are included to honor those lost from the parish in the Second World War.
The memorial is positioned at the center of a semicircular recess in the bank by the roadside. It is surrounded by a paved area, with a drystone retaining wall at the back and protective railings and gates at the front.
