Description

Bridge 111 over the Montgomeryshire Canal is a single arched brick bridge built between 1794 and 1797 as part of the Eastern Branch of the Montgomeryshire Canal, engineered by John and Thomas Dadford. The bridge features a plain segmental arch and a ramped parapet with simple terminal piers and stone copings. It is an important part of a group of canal structures at the lock at Pool Quay, and it has undergone later repairs.
