Description

This is a cast iron finger post located at the junction of Offa’s Road and West Street. It features three arms, one of which is a replacement. The post is plain and banded in black and white, with a moulded capital. Two of the arms display raised lettering: the upper arm reads ‘LLANDRINDOD WELLS 18 ½’ and the lower arm reads ‘BLEDDFA 6 ¾ PENYBONT 13 ½’, both accompanied by ‘A488’ in a box. The later arm indicates ‘BEGUILDY 8’. The post is topped with a ring inscribed ‘RADNOR CC’.
