Description

Agriculture House is a five-storey building with an attic, constructed from red brick featuring stock brick bands. It is V-shaped, with its main elevation facing the Railway Station. The building has gabled slate roofs and an eaves cornice. The front consists of nine bays, with a gabled dormer displaying the date 1895 located above the second to fourth bays from the right. The attic storey has paired shallow sash windows, an attic cornice, and a broad stock brick entablature. The windows on the third and fourth floors are positioned between pilasters and above a third-floor band, featuring keystones above cambered arches and small paned cross windows, similar to those on the second and first floors. The ground floor has plain cambered arches, and there are dummy windows on the right end wall flanking a brick stack. The elevation facing Kerry Road is similar, with a broad carriageway to the left. There is a recessed canted bay at the corner, featuring similar window styles. A freestone doorcase is present, with truncated pilasters on brackets that support finials. A rectangular panel with dragons passant supports the arms of Gwynedd, and there is a keystoned round arched doorway. Historically, a bridge once connected this corner at the third-floor level to the 1901 extension of the Royal Welsh Warehouse.
