Description

The barn at Cabalva Farm is a 19th-century structure built from rubble with a corrugated roof, which was originally covered with stone slate. It features two threshing bays that have camber-headed barn door openings, although these now have modern doors. There are also blocked slit ventilators. At the rear, there is an extension. To the right, there is a long, low cowhouse that is open-fronted and projects forward at a right angle. Inside, the barn has standard 19th-century king-post roof trusses supporting its 10-bay layout.
