Description
The lychgate of St Cadfan's Church is a notable example of vernacular architecture from the pre-ecclesiological period. It is constructed from axe-dressed stone and features a simple slate roof supported by exposed timbering. The lychgate has rounded arches at both the front and rear. Inside, there is a well-laid cobbled floor, which is defined by a stone sill at each end, and there are timber side benches for seating.
