Description
Marford Hall is a two-storey building with a Y-shaped plan, featuring pebbledash and brick construction along with pebbledash chimneys. The main facade is symmetrical, showcasing a string course and plinth, with a central semi-octagonal bay that includes an arched entrance and a later porch. Above the entrance is a window with an ogee head, and the other windows in this bay have similar pointed arches. Each side of the building has two windows per floor, all featuring ogee heads. Some of these windows are blocked, while others are generally multipaned cast iron casements with Gothick glazing. The rear elevations also have similar windows, with some blocked and others replaced with wooden reproductions. There are several mock arrow slits present, and an extension has been added in a matching style.
Inside, there is a large entrance hall that includes a staircase with a wreathed handrail and open string. Doorways with ogee heads lead off from the hall. A partial inspection was conducted during a survey in 1995.
