Description

The wall bounding the driveway to the Stables and continuing the stable yard screen is approximately 800 meters long and 1.5 meters high. It is constructed of uncoursed rubble stonework topped with a triangular ashlar coping. At the top, the wall connects to the end of the screen wall for the stable yard, and at the bottom of the steep driveway, it ends in a square pier that features three offsetting ashlar copings arranged to form a pyramid.
