Description
The former shippons at Iscoyd Park are an L-shaped block that encloses two sides of the stock yard. Constructed of brick with slate roofs, the building features a higher section at the northeast end, which is now converted and has a tile roof. This section includes a central half-lit door flanked by small-pane iron-frame windows, although the opening lights have been removed, all set under segmental heads. To the right of this section is a lower cart shed that is weatherboarded with a slate roof and is open at the gable end.
The shippon range has boarded doors at both ends and to the right of center, along with four windows. Three of these windows have been replaced with 3-light small-pane casements, while the right-hand window retains a steel-framed farm window. The left end of the building abuts the former laundry, which is listed separately. The return section also adjoins the laundry and features a 3-light replacement window at the right end, followed by a boarded door, two doorways in the center, and a half-lit door further to the left.
