Description
Cintra is a Grade II listed building made of painted brick with slate roofs and end wall stacks. It consists of two storeys and includes a single unit cottage and two two-unit cottages. Kew Cottage is the central house in the row and is likely the oldest part. It features a two-unit plan with a near-central segmentally arched doorway. The flanking windows on each floor are 2-light horizontally sliding sashes with small panes, and there is a dentilled eaves band. The left end wall stack is slightly set to the right of the gable line.
To the left, Ferndale is a single unit cottage with a doorway in an added gabled porch to the right and a former shop window to the left. This window has paired 12-pane sashes set in a moulded panelled architrave with brackets supporting the entablature. Above, there is a 3-light casement window and a dentilled eaves band. To the right, Cintra also has a two-unit plan with a doorway towards the centre in an added gabled porch. The flanking windows on each floor are small-paned horizontally sliding sashes, consisting of 2 and 3-lights, along with a dentilled eaves band.
