Description
18 Salop Road is a two-storey building constructed in Flemish bond brickwork with a slate roof. It features a three-window range, consisting of three single-unit, double-pile planned dwellings. The arrangement is asymmetrical, with paired doorways (added during conversion) for Nos 16 and 17, each flanked by a single window. No 18 has an entrance on the right, likely original, with a window next to it on the left. The upper windows align with those below, and all openings have round arched brick heads. No 18 has sash windows with radial glazing, which may be original, while Nos 16 and 17 have casement windows with transoms. The doors are boarded (renewed in No 16) and feature plain fanlights, with oculi above the outermost entrances, and a datestone above the right entrance. The building has end and axial stacks.
The front gardens are enclosed by cast iron spearhead railings on a chamfered stone plinth wall, which includes three gates.
