The Cambrian Vaults Public House is a two-storey building with a rendered exterior over brick and a slate roof that is set back behind a parapet. It features a two-window range facing Town Hill and a two-window range returning to College Street. The ground floor has a public frontage designed in a late 19th-century style, although it may have been renewed. Above, there are 12-pane sash windows.
