Description

This is an L-shaped timber-framed farmbuilding located to the north of Erbistock Hall, dating from the early 18th century. It features box framing with red brick nogging and has a renewed slate roof. The main section of the building faces a cobbled yard and stands on a plinth made of red sandstone rubble. On the left side, there is an arched passage that runs the width of the building. To the right, there is a later brick extension that includes newer windows and diamond-pattern ventilation slits. The return range has been significantly altered in the 20th century. A full inspection was not conducted during the 1994 resurvey.
