Description

Old Rose Cottage is a 2-storey building from the late 18th century or early 19th century, featuring four windows and constructed of whitewashed brick with gable end stacks and a slate roof. The main elevation, which faces the road, has a dentilled brick cornice and an altered six-panelled door with a later 19th-century porch. The windows on both the ground and first floors have cast iron frames with Gothick tracery, likely from the 19th century. The rear elevation has been significantly altered with modern extensions and later windows. The property was not accessible at the time of the survey in October 1994.
