Description

Overton Bridge is a red sandstone ashlar bridge featuring two high segmental arches. The arches are separated by knelled cutwaters on each side. The rusticated voussoirs of the arches are topped by a moulded string course that marks the base of the stepped parapet. To the east, a buttressed retaining wall supports the road-bed, constructed from coursed and squared rubble with an ashlar parapet.
