Description

This is a late 18th century bath house built from sandstone ashlar, featuring a plinth and entablature. The main south elevation has a Doric tetrastyle portico, with flanking side bays that contain recessed niches with moulded architraves. The building has a hipped slate roof with a central stack. Four stone steps lead down to a rectangular plunge pool. The right-hand return elevation retains 4-pane sash windows on the first floor, while modern windows are present below. The left-hand return elevation is similar. There is a two-storey rear extension from the late 20th century that connects to the northern elevation. The interior has been altered during its conversion to a dwelling.
