Description
Ball's Hall is a two-storey house built from brown brick, with origins dating back to the 17th century and remodelled in the 19th century. At the eastern end, there is a 19th-century open lean-to. The house features a large stepped brick chimney stack at the eastern end and has small-pane, 3-light wooden casement windows across its four-window main front, with a later squared bay window to the right. A dentilated brick cornice adds detail, and there is a later gabled section to the left.
Inside, a timber-framed passageway runs the length of the house. The end gables on the first floor showcase heavy crucks. The interior includes wide floorboards and boarded doors fitted with strap hinges. A notable feature is the inscription above the original fireplace, which reads "TB 1650 MB".
