Description
The Stone House is a two-storey villa with an attic, built in stone and featuring three bays. The stone is laid in irregular courses and is left exposed as a design feature. It has original sash windows with margin glazing and a front entrance porch that has a vaguely Gothic Revival character. The roof is pitched and covered with slate. There have been later additions and alterations, including a conservatory.
An internal inspection was not possible during the re-survey in 1995, but it is reported to retain many original features, including fireplaces.
