Description
The former Plas Power Colliery Workshops is a long and narrow single-storey building, measuring approximately 55 meters by 10 meters. It is made of roughly coursed sandstone and features a corrugated gabled roof. The tall windows on the longer sides of the building are irregularly spaced, totaling around 22 bays. Most of these windows have round-headed arches, while some have straight stone lintels. The southeast gable has three square-headed openings. Many of the windows are either blocked or have been replaced with new glazing. Two red-brick chimneys are located at the apex of the roof in the eastern half of the building.
Inside, the building is divided into separate workshops along its length, using stone walls and later partitions. The roof is supported by a king-post timber structure.
