Description
The farmyard range located to the northwest of Fferm Farmhouse is an early 18th-century, two-storey building constructed of red brick. It features a brick string course and a hipped slate roof, which is likely a later addition. The brick bonding shows evidence of two phases of construction. The main elevation includes several openings resembling domestic windows, which are now blocked, and above the string course are two much smaller openings. The rear elevation is similar and has sandstone footings. Inside, the building retains heavy chamfered beams and flooring.
