Description
This is a U-shaped range of farm buildings located to the northwest of Fferm Farmhouse. The right section is a rectangular building, likely dating from the 17th century, featuring a stone rubble base and timber framing with later brick infill above. It has a slate roof and a large opening that once held a wooden mullioned window.
To the northwest, there is an early 19th-century limestone barn with a loft above, which includes various openings and ventilation slits for the loft.
To the southwest, there is a large rectangular early 19th-century barn with a 20th-century slate roof and stone and red brick gable. This barn contains at least one re-used cruck blade, which may have originated from an earlier house on the site.
