Description

This is an L-shaped, two-storey range of farm buildings that dates back to the 18th century. It features a shallow-pitched slate roof with dentilated eaves. The main range consists of four bays and has five entrances, three of which have cambered heads. To the right, there are double cart-shed doors. Above these doors, there are three circular openings, with all except the one on the right extending downwards. To the left, there is a conventional window with a cambered head.

The southwest arm includes a wide, depressed-arched opening, with a similar opening opposite it, creating a central threshing bay flanked by two additional bays. Internally, the bays are divided by large pointed brick arches and feature king-post roofs. One of the purlins is dated 1793, and there are decorative ventilation slits throughout.

Attached to the southeast is a 19th-century cart-shed made of brick and slate, which has four arches with depressed-arched openings and sandstone hinge-blocks.
