Description
The fountain at Talacre Abbey is an octagonal structure made of freestone, located in the center of an octagonal pond that is surrounded by a moulded stone kerb with saddleback coping. The fountain features a moulded base and a corbelled bowl, from which the fountain head rises. The head of the fountain is decorated with elongated diamond panels in relief and is topped with a moulded cap. Behind the fountain, there is rockwork made of rubble stone and render, which includes several niches designed for plants.
