Description
Seaview Lodge is a 1½-storey Gothic style lodge built of coursed rock-faced stone with freestone dressings. It features a slate roof behind coped gables supported by moulded kneelers and topped with ball finials and ball-and-steeple apex finials. On the right side, there is a stack made of rock-faced stone with an ashlar upper portion and two moulded square pots.
The front of the building has two windows and a projecting gable on the right. At the angle of this gable and the main range, there is a gabled porch on the left, which has a ball finial and is open on two sides under shouldered lintels. The gable of the porch displays the Mostyn arms in relief, surrounded by strapwork. The doorway features a panelled door.
To the left of the doorway, there is a 2-pane sash window with a chamfered lintel. On the right side, a canted hipped-roof bay window in the lower storey incorporates 4-pane sashes, with a similar attic sash in the gable under a chamfered lintel. The right side wall includes a 2-pane sash window on the left and a 4-pane sash window on the upper right. The left gable end has a 4-pane sash window in each storey. At the rear, there is an added projection with a hipped roof and a coursed stone stack.
