Description

The pair of lime kilns at Ffrith Quarry are constructed from roughly squared and coursed limestone, featuring a brick lining. They have a large square plan and are connected by a central buttress that includes a central arched entrance. Each kiln has a central splayed opening topped with a semicircular head. The kilns stand approximately 13 meters tall and are about 5 meters deep.
