Description
The granary at Garthgynan is constructed from locally sourced, axe-dressed limestone and features a slate roof. The front elevation faces east and includes a barred window on the left, a door with a window above it, two large barn doors, a section with ventilation slits and a loft hatch, another barn door, and a door with a hatch above. The rear of the building has large central doors. On the west side, there is a three-bay wing that is part of the cowshed ranges surrounding the midden, which is made from a combination of brickwork and stone, topped with a synthetic slate roof.
